Door, gate, and elevator options are available through different hub designs, subject to project requirements and compatibility.

NFC, mobile, and PIN credentials are common choices; other methods depend on the selected reader and system configuration.

Access policies and schedules can be organized around people, locations, recurring hours, and holiday exceptions.

Access and Protect coordination can provide live door monitoring and video associated with access events when compatible devices share a supported console.

UniFi Access can bring supported hubs, readers, intercoms, policies, and door activity into the broader UniFi environment. Final platform selection still depends on the doors, lock hardware, credentials, network, operating requirements, and project scope.

Which unlock methods are available?

NFC cards or keyfobs, mobile unlock, and PIN entry are common options. Additional methods depend on the selected reader, software version, privacy requirements, and system configuration.

Can existing access-control wiring be reused?

Sometimes. Suitable existing wiring and certain reader environments may be reusable, but the wiring, locks, power, exit devices, door condition, and compatibility must be inspected before the design is approved.

Can access control integrate with security cameras?

Compatible access-control and video systems can associate door activity with live or recorded video. UniFi Access and UniFi Protect can provide this workflow on a supported shared console; other integrations depend on the selected platforms and configuration.
